This page includes installation instructions for all supported platforms.

If after following the instructions here you are still having difficulty installing The Legend of Mazzeroth or you have additional questions that are not answered here feel free contact us on our web forums located on our primary website.

Windows

Windows XP, Vista and 7

The following instrcutions work the same way on all modern versions of Windows (XP, Vista and 7). LoM has not been tested on Windows 2000.

Locate the file that you downloaded for The Legend of Mazzeroth. Double-Click on it to open it.
The ZIP file will look like a normal folder when you open it. Find 'Setup.exe' (or just 'Setup') and double-click on it.
You may be asked you if you want to install the 'Visual C++ Runtime Libraries'. Click on Install as these are required in order for The Legend of Mazzeroth to operate properly.
You may also be prompted to install the Microsoft .net Framework. Click yes to be taken to Microsoft's download site, download the .net installer and run it. You may be required to restart your computer.
After the prerequistes are installed the LoM setup will begin. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Advanced Users

Extract all files from the ZIP and run 'Setup.exe'.

MacOS X

Open the .DMG file you downloaded.
Drag the "The Legend of Mazzeroth" folder into the "Applications" shortcut folder.
Run "Launcher" and let it check for updates.
Hit "Play".
